MISSION AND VISION OF KUMERICA (KUMERICA MOVEMENT)

The main mission and vision why the youth of Kumasi (Kumasi people) rebrand this powerful, cultural and historical city (Greater Kumasi) with a top-notch and sensational term (name), Kumerica, are based on:

OUR MISSION:

From the beginning, our mission has been to make Greater Kumasi the most happiest city to live in Ghana and Africa at large. Today people still compare Kumasi to other cities in Ghana, and they have come to accept the fact that Kumasi is the haven place we’ve always dreamt of. This is mainly due to our hospitality, socialization, friendliness and welcoming attitude, unity, history, culture, and our swag and dapper look, and the slangs in our Twi speaking. Kumasi always welcomes all different ethnic groups, clans, tribes, immigrants, and non-Asantes, as long as you’re a human being, in the Golden Kingdom (Asante Region).

OUR VISION:

The vision of the Kumerica agenda is to make Kumasi a dream city (or dreamers’ city) whereby anyone living in Kumasi (both native and non-Kumasi people) would feel proud and work hard to achieve their dreams. It is our vision to set a vibrant platform and conscientize the youth [young people] (and everyone from Kumerica and/or living in Kumasi) to dream big, work hard to fulfil their dreams, and achieve their goals and aims in life. Kumerica would be a dream city where anyone can become whoever and whatever they want to become; where anything and everything can be achieved and accomplished by anyone without regard to tribe, ethnic group, clan, religion, political party, language, colour, nationality, sex, prejudice or race. It is to blend culture with modernization in creative arts.
